Cheesy Stuffed Peppers

How about an easy, healthy and delicious dinner? Peppers stuffed with cheese are quick to prepare and very tasty. You can serve them with salad, pasta, rice or bread, it`s up to you!

Prep time: 30 min; Servings: 6

Ingredients:

  • 3 green peppers
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • A pinch of salt
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese
  • A pinch of pepper

Method of preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°
  2. Cut the peppers in half.
  3. Remove the seeds.
  4. In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, onions, parsley and egg. Stir all well.
  5. Place the peppers in a baking pan previously lined with parchment paper.
  6. Season with salt and fill with the cheese mixture.
  7. Top with parmesan cheese.
  8. Sprinkle some pepper and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  9. Serve immediately.
