My husband is a real cherry-lover so today I decided to make these wonderful creamy cherry cups. They are delicious and elegant and make the perfect decoration for a beautiful Sunday morning. They can be made for breakfast, dessert, or simply as a delightful appetizer. Super easy to make, bake and eat!
- Puff pastry cups
- Egg yolk
- ½ lb. soft cheese
- ¼ lb. powdered sugar
- 1 lb. cherries
Method of preparation:
- Brush the puff pastry cups with egg yolk and bake according to package instructions.
- In a bowl, combine the soft cheese and powdered sugar and stir well.
- Add the cherries and stir again.
- Top the puff pastry cups with the cherry mixture.
- Serve warm.
You can add chocolate drops underneath the cherries. Absolutely gorgeous!
