Snowy Chocolate Pine Cones

What a fun way to combine healthy cereal, chocolate and honey into a festive winter treat for Christmas or New Years` Eve. They look wonderful but taste even better. The recipe is incredibly simple and easy and you can make it in no time. Plus, it is the perfect edible craft for the kids to make this winter when snow arrives. No baking needed- just combine the ingredients and shape.

  • 4 oz butter
  • 2 oz chocolate
  • 3 tbsp. honey
  • 3 oz sugar
  • 2 tbsps. cocoa powder
  • 2 oz sesame seeds
  • 4 oz coco cups
  • Powdered sugar

Method of preparation:

  1. In a heatproof bowl, melt butter over low heat and add chocolate, honey, sugar, cocoa powder, sesame seeds, and coco pops. Stir well.
  2. Take the upper part of a plastic lemon squeezer and use it to form pine cones.
  3. Dust with powdered sugar.
  4. Let the pine cones cool for 20 minutes and serve.
