When we hear strawberries and pie in the same sentence it usually means that we’re in for a treat. This pie recipe was among the first ones I tried and it was an instant hit from the start. It’s super easy to make so even if you’re a novice to the culinary world you’ll master the recipe right away. You can add cherries or raspberries instead of strawberries. Use them fresh or frozen.
Prep time: 45-50 minutes; Servings: 8
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of sugar
- Baking powder
- 1 lb. of white flour
- 1 lb. of strawberries
Method of preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 390°
- Place the eggs and sugar in a bowl and whisk until the mixture becomes thick, fluffy and triples in volume.
- Add the flour gradually while constantly whisking until blended together with no lumps.
- Add the strawberries and stir.
- Transfer the mixture in the baking pan, previously floured.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes.
