Today I decided to make sticky grilled chicken drumsticks combined with a spicy and sweet glaze. They were so heavenly tasty that I couldn`t resist so I ate my part before my husband and kids came home. I felt a bit guilty but they looked and smelled so tasty that I simply couldn`t resist. So hurry up, your family is waiting for this spicy delicious perfection.
Prep time: 35 min; Servings: 4
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. dried onion flakes
- 1 tsp. dried ginger
- ½ tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 garlic cloves
- ½ cup plum jam
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of black pepper
Method of preparation:
- In a pot, place apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, dried onion flakes, dried ginger pepper, salt, garlic and plum jam. Cook for 10 minutes over low heat.
- Meanwhile, lightly grease a nonstick grill pan and place the drumsticks. Season with salt and pepper.
- Grill over moderate heat, turning occasionally and brushing the drumsticks with the plum sauce, until golden-brown, about 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and pour the drumsticks with the remaining sauce.
- Serve warm.
