Cherry Filled Puff Pastry Cups

My husband is a real cherry-lover so today I decided to make these wonderful creamy cherry cups. They are delicious and elegant and make the perfect decoration for a beautiful Sunday morning. They can be made for breakfast, dessert, or simply as a delightful appetizer. Super easy to make, bake and eat!


  • Puff pastry cups
  • Egg yolk
  • ½ lb. soft cheese
  • ¼ lb. powdered sugar
  • 1 lb. cherries

Method of preparation:

  1. Brush the puff pastry cups with egg yolk and bake according to package instructions.
  2. In a bowl, combine the soft cheese and powdered sugar and stir well.
  3. Add the cherries and stir again.
  4. Top the puff pastry cups with the cherry mixture.
  5. Serve warm.

You can add chocolate drops underneath the cherries. Absolutely gorgeous!
